Day 6 of our Eastern Caribbean Carnival Cruise Vacation 2009

Welcome to St. Lucia, home of the Pitons...which we didn't see because we slept in a bit today and missed them. We took a taxi (US$6) from the port of Castries to Rodney Bay (Grey Tree Beach). Jeff & Annie met us there. There was an interesting fight between a couple of competing beach activity vendors. Apparently one of them was stealing business from the other. Harsh words were exchanged (i.e., "I'll slice your head you mother c**t" and "I'll filet you like a flying fish.") The beach was nice but the water was not very clear and it was a bit crowded. There was a resort nearby so we ate a nice meal on the beach...I think I had crab cakes.
