Today we flew from Chicago Midway to Norfolk, VA, where Chad and our nephew Aiden were waiting for us. We didn't do too much, other than stopping at the McDonald's drive-thru and ordering a ton of food. Then we headed to Chad and Lisa's apartment and crashed.

well after 15 long months... Chad is finally back in the United States! We are all very happy to have him home from his deployment in Iraq and Kuwait.

We took a last minute trip to Virginia this past weekend to visit Chad and Aiden. Chad got an unexpected leave from Iraq. What a fabulous trip! We flew out on Friday night and got back late Sunday night. Saturday we headed to Virginia Beach and got a beach front hotel for the night. The weather wasn't the greatest.... but it was a lot better than Illinois ;) We took Aiden swimming in the indoor pool, walked up and down the beach, and did a little shopping at some of the beachfront stores. Saturday night we went out for an amazing dinner at a place called Mahi Mahi's. It was honestly the best meal I have ever had. It was a seafood house right on
