About Shell Beach
Shell Beach is clearly named for the massive amounts of shells that wash up. You can also find beautiful "sea glass" pieces mixed in. It is just a 5 minute walk from the ferry dock in Gustavia Harbour.
The first time we visited Shell Beach, we were on a day ferry trip from St. Maarten. We didn't know what to expect on the ferry so we took some dramamine before we left. Unfortunately, we were so sleepy by the time we walked to Shell Beach from the ferry dock in Gustavia Harbour, that we ended up sleeping and drooling on the shells.
