About “Adrift: 76 Days Lost at Sea”

Jeremy picked up “Adrift: 76 Days Lost at Sea”, by Steven Callahan, at the Philadelphia Airport on our way back from the Caribbean. It instantly drew him in and he ended up reading the entire book in just a couple of days. It is the story of a man who attempted to sail across the Atlantic and back by himself, and ended up sinking just as he started his return voyage. He then floated by himself on a life raft for 76 days until he reached the Caribbean and was finally found. His story was later recounted on Animal Planet’s TV series “I Shouldn’t Be Alive”.
