About Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort
Infinity Bay is a beautiful (as of yet incomplete) resort right on West Bay Beach at the far western edge of Roatan in Honduras’ Bay Islands. It has a large pool in the center garden, a swim up bar with very friendly bartenders and wait staff, and is just steps from the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. You can literaly walk out to the reef, which is just a couple dozen yards from short. This makes for an excellent snorkeling trip. In fact, some of the snorkeling “tours” were actually bringing paying guests to the reef in front of the resort.
West Bay Beach is full of great restaurants that you can walk to – with or without sandals. You can also take a short water taxi ride to the town of West End, which also has several great places to dine.
The beach in front of Infinity Bay is so nice that most of the cruise ship daytrippers are brought here when they ask to go to the nicest beach on the island.
The bar, La Palapa, was usually still happening after returning from dinner, so it makes for a great spot to end the night. The bartenders – Carlos, Gary, and Ezra – to name a few, always went above and beyond to make sure you had a drink when you needed it, or a good meal when you were hungry.
We plan on returning in the near future…many more times.
