About Lodging in Anguilla

Of all of the magnificent lodging in Anguilla, we have only been lucky enough so far to stay at Shoal Bay Villas.

We stayed a night at Shoal Bay Villas during our July of 2008 trip to St. Maarten. It was our fourth wedding anniversary and we were vacationing with our good friends James and Autumn. We wanted to eat dinner at Blanchard’s Restaurant, so we booked our villa, made a reservation for dinner, and hopped on the ferry to Blowing Point, Anguilla from Marigot, St-Martin. We were very happy with our choice in lodging, as the villas were located directly on Shoal Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever visited. If we hadn’t stayed here, we would not have experienced the beach. Our specific villa had a somewhat private pool right outside the door, and just a few steps through the breezeway and you were on the beach. The grounds were very lushly landscaped and were full of bright tropical flowers and shrubs. Although we weren’t cooking any meals on this trip, we had a full kitchen, which came in handy for us to wash off our newly expanded shell collection. Read more about Shoal Bay Villas in Anguilla…

Lodging In Anguilla In Our Future?

While some of the lodging in Anguilla is out of our price range (at least as of the time of this writing), we feel that there are still some good value places to stay on the island, depending on the time of year. We will definitely be back to Anguilla in the future and look forward to finding more great, affordable lodging options. Most of all, we look forward to getting back to Shoal Bay Beach!
