About St. Maarten and St-Martin

St. Maarten, the Dutch side of this tiny island, shares the island with St-Martin, the French side. The Dutch side is famous for its amazing airplane landing views at Maho Beach, at the end of the Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) runway.

Our Travels to St. Maarten and St-Martin

We visited St. Maarten and St-Martin on July of 2008 to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary with our friends James and Autumn. We also stopped here to change planes on our way to our trip to St. Bart’s to see Jimmy Buffett in November of 2009. We loved both sides of the island, and because of its close proximity to Anguilla and St. Bart’s, we were able to visit those additional islands as well.
