Are children invited?

We love your little ones! However, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this will give you a chance to relax, enjoy, and celebrate with us. For guests traveling with children, Poppins Keiki Hawaii, located on the 4th floor of the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort, offers Hawaiian cultural crafts, beach and pool activities, local excursions, and babysitting services.(https://www.poppins.co.jp/educare/english/hawaii/)

what should I wear to the welcome event on 7/31?

The welcome event on Friday, July 31st is intentionally casual and relaxed. Whether you're fresh off the plane, or already settled into vacation mode, we'd love for you to join us! Resort wear, shorts, sundresses, aloha shirts, sandals, and other comfortable island attire are all welcome. The event will be held outdoors, so we encourage guests to dress comfortably for Hawaiʻi's warm evening weather.

What should I wear to the wedding & reception

For the wedding ceremony & reception Aloha Formal style is encouraged—think elevated island style with tropical flair. Flowing dresses, jumpsuits, Aloha shirts with tailored pants, linen suits, bright colors, and breathable fabrics all fit the vibe. See the Aloha Attire Guide tab for inspiration.

What will the weather be like in Hawaii during our wedding?

August in Hawaii is typically hot, sunny, and tropical. Daytime temperatures often reach the mid-to-upper 80s, and evenings usually stay warm in the mid-70s. You’ll likely enjoy ocean breezes, but the sun can feel strong, so we recommend light, breathable clothing, sunscreen, and staying hydrated. Brief tropical showers are possible, but they tend to pass quickly.
