You Had Me At Aloha

Tiffany and Jeremy first met in 2006 when Tiffany walked into her very first college class and noticed a cute boy sitting quietly in the back row. Something about his presence caught her attention, and she found herself choosing the seat next to him that day and on most days after. Jeremy, ever strategic, often suggested study sessions, knowing that Tiff’s carefully prepared study-guides could help him cram just in time for exams. What started as an easy friendship grew into love, and by 2012 they officially became a couple. Together they’ve shared countless adventures, traveling through Hawai‘i, Mexico, and Japan, and found a deep sense of home in each other, grounded in shared roots and cultural rhythms. Through every season (and era), Jeremy has been Tiff’s steady rock, and together they have built a love strengthened by both joy and resilience. As they begin this new chapter, Tiffany and Jeremy feel grateful to celebrate with the people who matter most. Having their friends and family together in Hawaiʻi is a gift they will treasure forever.

We’ve arranged a group rate at this resort, located just a two-minute walk from our ceremony and reception. Getting In

We recommend flying into Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), the largest airport in Hawaii, located in Honolulu on the island of Oʻahu. From HNL, ride share services such as Uber and Lyft are readily available. A one-way trip to downtown/Waikiki is about $25 and takes roughly 15 minutes. Many hotels also offer airport transfer shuttles, so we encourage you to reach out directly to your hotel for details.

Getting Around

Once you’re in Waikiki, you’ll find plenty to see and do within walking distance, there’s really no need to rent a car if you’re staying nearby. That said, if you’d like to explore other parts of Oʻahu during your trip, you may want to consider renting a car for a portion of your stay. We have found both Turo and Enterprise to be reliable options on the island.

North Shore Favorite: Ted’s BakeryYou’ll need to rent a car to check this one out, but it’s well worth the drive! Ted’s Bakery is a hidden gem with a true local feel, a special spot we discovered on a recent trip (thank you to our friend Theo Maniatis for the recommendation!). It’s the perfect pit stop on your way up to the North Shore. For breakfast or brunch, you can’t go wrong with any of their breakfast sandwiches!

One of our favorite childhood and local treats is shave ice! Perfect for cooling off in the island sun! Be sure to check out Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice near the hotels, known for its incredibly soft, fluffy ice and delicious, fresh flavors. It’s light, refreshing, and a must-try&nbsp;

Sweet Treat Stop: Leonard’s BakeryOur favorite post-beach indulgence has to be malasadas from Leonard’s. Jeremy is loyal to the classic with cinnamon sugar, while Tiff can never resist the originals filled with custard or guava. A must-try, whether you visit the iconic bakery itself or one of the bright pink mobile trucks scattered across the island!

Our absolute favorite beach on the island, Lanikai is pure paradise. With soft white sand, calm turquoise waters, and picture-perfect views of the Mokulua Islands, it’s an ideal spot for swimming, relaxing, or simply soaking up the beauty of Hawaiʻi.

The Lei Stand Waikīkī is a vibrant cocktail lounge inside Romer House, known for its creative island-inspired drinks and laid-back tropical vibe. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a taste of modern Hawai‘i.Tiff’s all-time favorite beverage: Rub Up On My Belly — guava jelly infused Tito’s, pineapple, lime, and yuzu soda 🍍✨

The Lei Stand Waikīkī

Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show every Friday at 7:45 PM on the beach in front of Hilton Waikiki. You can watch from anywhere along Waikīkī Beach and many nearby resorts. Arrive a little early to find a great spot and soak in the sunset before the show begins. We know this overlaps with our welcome event, so please feel free to stop by, say hello, and head out early if you’d like to catch the fireworks!
